Blackjack - Explaining how the game works

Black Jack Off is our twist on the casino classic where players attempt to reach a value of 21 with their hands without going over!

  • At the start of the game, players will have 30 seconds to place their bets for the following round of Black Jack Off. Then, both players are dealt 2 cards face-up, with the dealer showing 1 card face up and 1 card face down. The first player to act will have a few choices on how to act with their hand depending on the cards they were dealt.
  • The first player will then act and typically, attempt to reach as close to 21 as possible without going over. Once the player has either busted or stuck to their hand, the second player will have an opportunity to do the same.
  • Once both players have acted, the dealer will act and attempt to beat both players. If the dealer busts, both players win. If the dealer gets a value over one or both of the other players, they lose.
  • At the end of the round, winnings will be distributed to the players based upon their initial bet. All winning hands pay back the original stake and a 1:1 match (You bet 1,000, you'll receive 2,000) except in the case of Blackjack (An Ace and any card worth 10 points), where a higher payout is provided.
  • At the end of round five, the player with the highest number of chips wins the game and receives the opponent's tokens as winnings – along with the return of their initial stake!

Owing to Blackjack being a rather complicated game with many different possible situations, we recommend you read the full rules and options available to players on the Blackjack Wikipedia article's rules of play.
